Plunge Recovery Somerton Park

Plunge Recovery is Adelaide's premier recovery and wellness facility, offering a science-backed approach to physical and mental wellbeing. Designed to help you recover smarter, feel better and perform at your best, Plunge combines hot and cold-water contrast therapy, infrared and traditional saunas and Normatec compression therapy in one dedicated recovery space. At the heart of the facility are four spacious, deep plunge pools set at 7°C, 14°C, 36°C and 40°C, providing a range of hot and cold immersion experiences. The facility also features two infrared saunas and a hybrid traditional/ infrared sauna, each accommodating up to four people. Infrared sauna sessions use near and far infrared wavelengths to deliver heat directly into the body's tissues, while the traditional sauna is heated to approximately 80–90°C and offers a steam experience through heated stones and increased humidity. For targeted recovery, Plunge offers Normatec compression therapy, originally developed as a medical device to support circulation and rehabilitation. Guests can choose leg, arm or hip compression attachments while relaxing in a comfortable environment. With a holistic focus on recovery, performance and wellbeing, Plunge Recovery provides a premium space for anyone looking to prioritise their health.
