Welcome to Whale Swim Safaris, formerly Salty Safaris. Hervey Bay's only dedicated whale swim operator, specialising exclusively in small-group, in-water humpback whale encounters during the peak whale swim season. With a maximum of just 10 guests per boat, we do things differently. We're not a large whale-watching boat that occasionally offers swimming. Our Whale Swim Safaris are built around giving a small number of adventurous guests the best opportunity to experience Hervey Bay's humpback whales both above and below the water. Small groups.
