The inner west suburb of Leichhardt is just a 20 minute bus ride from Sydney's city centre. With a strong Italian heritage, Leichhardt's shops and restaurants specialise in handmade Italian pasta, freshly ground coffee and seasonal gelato. Most of Leichhardt's action occurs on Norton Street and is lined with delis, cafes and cake shops. Experience its casual dining scene at cafes such as Bar Italia, Bar Sport and Berkelouw. The Italian Forum is reminiscent of a Tuscan piazza and is home to the Leichhardt library.
