Robertstown War Memorial Community Centre - General Services

The Robertstown War Memorial Community Centre serves as a practical hub for both local residents and visitors passing through. The Town includes cartoon murals by renowned artist, Jed Dunstan, as well as stobie pole art by local artists. A mural opposite the Community Centre was commissioned to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the town, named after John Roberts. The Robertstown Peace Hall was opened in 1923 as a memorial to the First World War, containing memorial boards for subsequent wars. This is a wonderful venue for functions and is available for hire.

The Goyder Interpretive Gardens feature native plants from either side of Goyders Line. This site has a shelter shed where one can read the display panels with the history of Robertstown. Floor bricks have names of residents and organizations in the surrounding district. Further along the gardens, a photo board depicts the original crane used for loading the goods wagons

The town supports an active bowling club, so bring your bowls for a roll, tennis facilities, football oval and netball courts with public toilets and a playground. There is a camping area around the oval with dump facilities.

There is also a B & B in the town, opposite the hotel. The Lutheran and Uniting Churches hold regular services.
