Walkabout Cultural Adventures explores Kuku Yalanji country. This tour is based on the southern side of the Daintree river and Mossman area. Including a guided walk through the southern section of the Daintree rainforest along the Mossman Gorge and local coastal habitats, including beaches and mangrove forests.

Gain an insight into how the Kuku Yalanji people see and use the natural environment, learn about different foods and medicines, sample seasonal bush tucker, and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices. Learn the history, culture and traditions of the local Aboriginal people and the area. Walk through the rainforest and coastal habitats learning about the different environments, different foods and medicines utilised from nature, sample some seasonal bush tucker, collect shellfish and learn traditional Aboriginal hunting practices, have a go at spear throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab. Tour also includes swim in a pristine freshwater stream.
