Abrolhos Islands, Pink Lake & Gorges Grand Flight From Kalbarri

    About This Service

Begin your tour with a scenic flight over Geraldton and out across the Indian Ocean to the remarkable Abrolhos Islands, a remote chain of 122 coral islands located around 65 kilometres off Western Australia's coast. The Abrolhos are the southernmost true coral reefs in the Indian Ocean and one of the world's most important seabird breeding sites. Divided into three island groups, the region is renowned for its vibrant coral gardens, rich marine life, and frequent sightings of sea lions, dolphins, and seasonal whales. Your flight passes over the Pelsaert Group before continuing north to the Wallabi Group, where you'll enjoy sweeping aerial views of the coral atolls and the historic Batavia shipwreck site. Wrecked in 1629, the Batavia tragedy remains one of Australia's most infamous maritime stories. On the return journey to Geraldton, fly over the striking Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake near Port Gregory. Circle the lake to admire its vivid pink hues, created by naturally occurring Dunaliella salina algae, before following the coastline back to Geraldton Airport.
