Ngana Kulkinga Dungay: We All Going Cape Tribulation - Full Day

    About This Service

Walkabout Cultural Adventures takes you north of the Daintree River to explore the Daintree rainforest and different environments around Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef.

Learn about how these unique environments come together and how the local Kuku Yalanji utilised and managed the natural resources.

Be guided on a walk through the world’s oldest surviving tract of low-land tropical rainforest, while your guide shares the history, culture and traditions of the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people. Hear about the unique relationships the Kuku Yalanji people have with their land and the respect they have for these diverse environments. Walk through the world’s oldest living rainforest, see the majestic Daintree river, and reach Cape Tribulation: where the rainforest meets the reef, explore coastal habitats learning about the different bush foods and medicines, swim at one of the pristine freshwater streams. It is special to find the elusive cassowary or a crocodile while on tour.

With all tours being family friendly and catering to all abilities, please advise any mobility , dietary requirements or allergies as tours can be modified to suit.
